Hey, I am stuck on the checking versions screen. Which eventually says you cannot connect to battle.net try again in a few minutes. I believe I used a VPN, but I know I was also messing around with permissions on my computer, and unaware I may have altered permissions of the folder containing the game. So I am unaware if I am banned for VPN? If so how much longer? or is it for this other reason?
Can any blizz affiliate or employee please check my ip?

Looks like it was due to the VPN usage in this case. From what I found the IP restriction happened on 9/17, and it lasts 2 weeks from the date, so it would lift on 10/1.
