I already disabled this garbage on my alt account, but yesterday I tried logging in and I was surprised because it got activated again. The problem is that my old phone that the authenticator was bound to is already broken. You know what? It’s just so ridiculous that you are not able to gain access to the account with games that you paid for, because of this stupid garbage authenticator. Their support is just annoying asking you so many things, like can I just play already and not have to deal with your stupid authenticator BS?
I understand your frustration, especially when you don’t have access to the old phone that was on the account.
Blizzard will remove it for you, but first you have to prove you are the account holder. They do that to prevent account thieves from compromising the account.
They have recently started offering a list of questions you can try to answer, but if you prefer, you should be able to submit your Govt issued ID following the directions on the support article.

Nah, they can have that account for all I care. Will surely never buy any Blizzard games anymore. Why do I need to submit ID’s? Is it not enough that I have the proof of purchase, secret questions, access to the email etc. They are just making things complicated with this stupid mobile authenticator. In STEAM when I submitted a ticket to remove the authenticator, I never had any complicated problems with their support team. They gladly removed it and I was able to bind it to my new phone.
Is it me or has Blizzard the worst support team ever… never had this problem before…
Already playing Wow on 2 accounts for almost 16 years… now I can’t play the second one because they need authenticator for both accounts but only one account can be add to one authenticator they are telling… and saying “nah we can’t do anything, have a nice day”

A Battlenet account can have up to 8 WoW licenses on it which would all be covered with the same authenticator/phone number.
I assume your other WoW account is on another Battlenet account. You can still put an Auth on that, but it needs to be tied to a different phone number. Beware the phone restrictions when setting it up. They don’t allow VOIP, some “burner” style numbers, and the number has to match your country of record on the account.
So yes, CS really can’t do anything about it. A phone number can’t be used for more than one Bnet account and that is not something they can change for you or over ride.
