Fetching online profile, error code 4

COD: When I want to get into Multiplayer or Warzone, it keeps loading on Fetching online profile. After 2 minutes it shows error code 4 as you can see in the video: FIXED | Fetching online profile PC | Call of Duty - Modern Warfare, Warzone - YouTube

Yes, I know that you will say that I have to contact Activision, but they don’t react to anyone with this problem. Chat is offline and no reactions on social media or in the forum.

Hopefully you guys can help me and all the others who are desperate to find a solution.

Found solution

Just ALT+F4 during “Fetching Online Profile” 3-4 times. (Just wait a bit before closing each time)

Tried all these step:
Steps

  1. Scan & Repair - FAILED
  2. Restarting Router - FAILED
  3. Delete File + Restart Game - FAILED
  4. Send message to Support… FAILED #respondyet
  5. REDDIT: https://www.reddit.com/r/modernwarfare/comments/gaqbma/help_wanted_error_code_4_stuck_on_fetching_online/
  • Changing in Game Settings (Battle net) “Future Patch” 100 to 0 THEN 0 to 100 FAILED
  1. Youtube: Modern Warfare - How to Fix "Unable to Join Game Session" - YouTube - IN PROGRESS
  • Delete File - Done
  • Scan & Repair - Done
  • Firewall - Disable COD - Done
  1. ALT-F4 3-4 times
  2. Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/user/spnilsson - Not done but just to share the research

Have the exact same problem and none of the solutions suggested in here worked! Started right after the last big update a couple of days ago.

Any solution that worked for anyone?

Same problem… still looking for a solution, tryed all. none of the suggested solutions worked for me ;/. We need a smart guy to solve this!

WORKED FOR ME: Just ALT+F4 during “Fetching Online Profile” 3-4 times
(I USED 30 seconds)

Really strange solution… but it worked!

Hey there,

This is a game client error rather than a problem with the installer. We at bBlizzard just work on installation/patching here. You want to contact activision for help with this. They’ll have better ideas for what may cause problems with their game client.
