Same issue for me, i tried everything and the issues still there.
Ive given up. if you cant learn how to manage a game for pc with out it crashing ever 5 mins i wont even bother.
anyone else starting to feel like this error code is being forced? bc the game doesn’t really crash bc everything in the background is still moving but you cant bypass the error screen anymore to play the game. What if this is a ban and that’s why we haven’t heard anything from the dev
bc nothing is wrong with our pcs im reading everyones comments here and everyones pcs specs arent bad AT ALL so we all know we arent the issue and the game is still running in the background but error screen seems like a lock to the game. Its just a guess that this error is being forced just bc the game is still running in the background of the error code.

Do u guys use season 5 operators? Have u guys tried using older operators? I know in past issues the carv caused dev errors etc. Ill try it out and let yall know if i get any more errors, so far so good for me
I was able to play 4 matches after adding the -dx3d11 command and disabling Geforce Experience In-Game Overlay.
Also for the love of all that is PC gaming, never use Geforce Experience to optimize your settings.
downgrading to Nvidia 471.68 driver allowed me to click back into game and play with the fatal error message in background. wouldn’t let me do that with the latest driver. Already tried uninstalling and reinstalling game several times, refresh install of windows 10, scan and repair, multiple drivers etc.
one time i started game in safe mode when the window popped up after crash (game safe mode not windows safe mode) and got different error. dev error 6070 for directx error. not sure if this is relevant to the fatal error in this thread or separate issue only for safe mode.
I don’t think it’s a ban. Because I have this game installed on my PC and Xbox. It only crashes on the PC but I can play it on my Xbox. But I don’t want to play with 80 FOV 
I’m not getting an error code anymore the game just quits to desktop for me everytime I am loading up into a match. Or it freezes on the loading screen or as I’m dropping in warm-up.
has to be a bug, tried all the above, run as admin, reinstalled all of blizzard and warzone. same error.
Start the game, freezes, error pops up. As long as the game is running in full screen borderless, ic an move the error message to the other monitor and continue to play the game.
Definitely a fix that will probably be patched in the next update (thursday?)
Ive put my season 4 operator skin back on and no crashes so far… I think it could be the fix, can anyone else try it out and give ur results?
I had a friend of mine help me out with fixing this issue. If you are only wanting to play multiplayer we might have found a possible fix. Modify your install to only have multiplayer, take off campaign, special ops and survival. It seems like one of those few might have a bug and is corrupting the files. I played a round and nothing has happened as of yet.

Set the OPTIMAL settings for the game in the GeforceExperience. Relaunched the game.
I’ve tried this and pretty much everything else in the previous replies to no avail, guess we’ll just have to wait till they drop the new update
crashed first game after trying this. might work for others but didnt for me
I’ve also the feeling that error is forced for a reason. Game is running normally for hours even after error is posted.
I think we have to get lucky and hope for the
“Repair and Scan” option.
That allows me to click back onto the game. This needs to be fixed like f*****g yesterday.
yeah this should have been fixed days ago but i think bc its the weekend they dont really care plus i wouldnt be shocked if they dont do anything about this since its not happening to everyone they might fix it but it might take them till the end of the week
How is that working? The Popup with Error Message is modal for me. It blocks clicking back onto the game window…
