I’m having the same problem. I followed all the instructions it gave me and got to the point of uninstalling Battle.net and reinstalling but now it’s stuck at 45% for over half an hour.
I get the error something about the blizzard agent went sleeping we are trying to wake him up!

No idea if it’s connected. I wish battlenet didn’t push small updates that break things randomly. Small indie company
Indeed a small general heads up is never misplaced. But now peeple dont know anything and can only speculate its Battle.net its doing.
Really frustrating and i know some peeple do it also myself included, u start looking what is wrong and sometimes mess it up more! because it could be alot of other stuff if u check support!
I was having this issue too, deleting the Battle.net folder in C:\ProgramData\ fixed it for me.
edit: The next morning the issue was back again. Deleted the folder again and it’s working. A temporary fix at least?

App was working fine 3 hours ago until logging off it did a 372m update, now its doing the error BLZBNTBNA00000005 error as well.
Literally just fixed itself with another forced update, try yours again to see if its got an app update qued.
Mine hasn’t updated.
I have this error every few weeks, but it somehow fixed it randomly by itself.

Basically, Hurricane Helene fragged me in the middle of an online D2R game. Ever since, nothing but crashes in D2R. Bilzzard has apparently decided to do nothing, as I have submitted a Ticket, US101351738 and been told NOTHING save the same BS they spout on their one-solution-fixes-all splash page.
