Edge case issues with logging in

Following a password reset, I recently had issues logging back into the website (98300651, https…forums.blizzard.com…server-error-500-on-resetting-password/50054).

In addition to the technical issue, I raised the following interaction issue with the support team. They directed me to create a ticket. Here we are!

If you have issues logging in it is really hard to figure out how to raise a support ticket about logging in. I’m ugly but smart and it must have taken me ten minutes.

The website attempts to funnel you down into choices that may match 99% of the use cases but, clearly, not 100%. When you’re in one of those edge cases (as I was almost certain to be) the enforced assistance is not at all of assistance.

An option for “other issue” that allows raising an un-authenticated ticket might be a good idea.
