Ah good. Glad that is done at least. CS Twitter is normally Forum Support Agents who are not usually working this time of night on a Sat and I donāt know who is backup access wise.
Launcher is most important though so I am good with that, for now.
Give it time. Sat night has a LOT of people trying to get back in.

Friends are on and playing as seen in list, perhaps if we ask for refunds for time lost trying to log in it might happen faster. Rather disappointed with the inability to figure this one out.

Trying to get back in from having stopped playing 6 hours ago so no whining.
With regard to your request for a refund. That wonāt speed anything up. CS has given time before, but only when the game is down for 24 hours or so plus. We got a fair amount of days in Vanilla, BC - and WoD release (3 days). Not lately though.
So yeah, you can ticket, but wait times are days right now with the patch so the line is long.
Hereās hoping the person who is managing the vSphere account is working this late so they can get the VM slice the Auth servers are running on back online. Since the realms are working itās obvious the issue is in the entryway āmeaning the authentication and loginā server is the likely culpritā¦ Fortunately most of that can be done via SSH or over RDP but the question now is, āis this regional or globalā cause if its global then the primary server in California is where the mirror is based out of so its not as late there as it is on the East Coast.
Iāve been able to log in for the past ten minutes but get a blank character screen

yeah i got the same just now ā¦ and sicerely ā¦ thats the first time it happens in 15 years ā¦ never seen a black screen on char select

It is complicated and they donāt share the details of the Authentication system.
just leave it on black screen ā¦ my toons ended up loading after awhile ā¦ took forever on loading screen but back in now ā¦ you should all try login ?

That is what I am seeing elsewhere as well. Takes like 10 mins, but eventually they come back.
Waiting worked for me.
