Diabolo II question befor purchase

I want to buy diablo II, but…
minimum requirement is windows 10 like, WOW
I have windows 7, 64 bit, I play WOW and Diablo III without problems.

Now I want to know if it is possible to play diablo II with windows 7, 64 bit?

Classic Diablo 2 can be played with Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10. Diablo 2:Resurrected is a different story.

Diablo 2: Resurrected system requirements:
Minimum requirements (720p)

  • OS: Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-3250 or AMD FX-4350
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 / AMD Radeon HD 7850
  • Drive Space: 30GB

Recommended requirements (1080p)

  • OS: Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600
  • RAM: 16GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 / AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT
  • Drive Space: 30GB

If your hardware meets at least the minimum requirements for 720p, you can upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 10. Download the media creation tool from Microsoft to get started. I recommend using the media creation tool to make a flash drive Windows 10 installer first, then installing from it, but you can use the media creation tool to directly upgrade your system.

If your system does not meet at least the minimum recommended specifications, you’re looking at hardware upgrades, or even replacing your system with something newer.

I have played the classic D2 under XP, 7,10 and even under Linux.

My system is better than recommended, just don’t want windows 10. Will see how it works out.
Will wait until its out, don’t buy it upfront.
