Diablo II / LOD game not loading update patch. I used the end process with task manager. The game.exe or diablo.exe kept running and the update wouldn’t install. I pressed Ctl+alt+del and opened the task manager, found the diablo.exe or game.exe followed by the game name and clicked on end process. The game file closed and the pactch installed on my windows 7 pc. Hope this helps.
