I wanna use mods that require older version. Why did you prepatch the installer? WTF.
Do I really need to rebuy the CD versions to play with mods? Lost the CD’s ages ago.

If you can find someone to rip you their CD image or provide you with an old installer, you should be still able to use your original CD-key and install it without any issues. What makes your copy legitimate is your CD-key, not the installer file.
