Hi, I just purchased Diablo 2 for Mac, and the downloader application will not run on OS 10.15.5, which is my laptop’s OS version. So, can I have some help, please?

This is a known bug that the developers are working on. This is all of the information we have on the issue. Your best bets are to either use an older build of the OS (Pre-catalina) which you can use Bootcamp for, or use the link in that post to pursue a refund if you’d like to just wait for us to fix the bug.

Is there any forecast of how long for this bug to be fixed?
They won’t release any information on this until the update is given a green light for distribution. One big reason is because if they forecast a time frame, then have to push that time back significantly further for a last minute reason, that will upset even more people.

Hi, I think your options are as follows:
- install an older mac OS that supports 32bit software
- ask Tim Apple to fix 32bit support on their current OS
- maybe try run it in virtualbox or something
- install windows on your mac instead
- get rid of your mac and buy a normal PC
