Any news? Is there an updated 64 bit version in the works??? Hell, I’d pay again to get a new Diablo 1 - Diablo 3 set full functional with some extra content for each. Every time I look at the red usb in the diablo skull on my desk I grind my teeth!!! Please get us D2 in 64!!! Thanks in advance.
Idea: A special edition red-usb and usb-C soul stone… that would be cool for all the highend laptop & macbook users!

Same Problem here… also interested in a fix
Do what you must do, Blizzard.
Any updates on this? how long does it take to “investigate” something that is obvious… is your “dev team” made of donkeys or monkeys?
Great advice. Worked for me.
Just bought the game and cannot install for os 64bit???
Just looking for an update blizz, just be honest and let us know if you’re still working on this please pretty please.
Hey, folks! It’s been some time since we’ve provided an update here, but I wanted to assure you all that we hear you and we regularly check on this post. Even if we may not have much to say, we still read each one of your posts. We have not forgotten about this issue, and we appreciate your patience throughout this time.
Our team is working on this for Diablo II to be supported on Catalina, but there is no guarantee or timeline at this moment. We can’t guarantee anything for certain right now, but our team is working and doing their best to do what they can to bring Diablo II to you.
It can take quite some time since the issue itself isn’t an easy one to fix. There’s a lot of adjustments to do and quality checks that need to be done to make sure the game is fully stable and compatible with Catalina. Especially, since switching over from 32 to 64-bit is quite a process, its really hard to gauge when we’ll have something ready to push to you all.
We’ll do our best to update on this thread when we have more information to share with you all. Thank you for continuing to show us your voice on this matter!

Thanks for the update! I can’t wait, really excited to back into DII
No updates since November.
Silence is not an option!
Here are the options for you to respond that I see at the moment:
-
Dear Gamers, you need to buy additional software to play the Game on Catalina and higher. Blizzard will not recompile Diablo 2 with x64 arch.

Dear Gamers, Blizzard is working on recompiling Diablo 2 with x64 arch. There is no ETA at the moment. We will keep you posted.
Please provide the update! Diablo 2 is not free to play. We need an answer.

I remember how long it took to bring StarCraft (original) back into Mac compatibility, so I’m not going to worry about it not getting done for Diablo II. It’ll happen, and I’ll be stoked when it does. Heck, I still miss WarCraft II Orcs and Humans Battle.net edition. Sometimes Old School is able to stay awesome.
I just bought D2 LOD, please make this playable in MAC asap…
There has been over 300 comments on this, Blizzard please make this playable as soon as possible!
Thank you!!

Especially during this coronavirus situation when everyone is at home… and also, blizzard should take the responsibility for not letting its customers and buyers about this issue… Thank you Blizzard…

Why are you still selling a game that hasn’t worked for 6 months?? And it’s not even that cheap…
Can’t believe I just convinced someone to buy this

At this point I would just reccomend downgrading from OS catalina.
Why the f*** would apple remove compatibility for 32 bit applications anyway?
It’s not blizz’s fault, this is something that so many game companies have had to deal with since Apple acted like “This is the way of the future to forget about old architecture” It’s the 3.5 mm jack all over again.
The company is blind without Steve and you should buy a PC
