Diablo 2 API Plan

Dear Blizzard Developers,

I wan to know that do we have a plan that supporting Diablo 2 game data API in future.
Diablo 2 is a classic game but in fact it will be forgotten if there is no such a product that memorize it.
I guess many developers, like me, are willing to make some meaningful related website or Apps if you provide such APIs. A good website or an App can be a great power of nostalgic, although Diablo 2 is passed severals decades.

Hi,
I know that this post is over 1 year old, but the question is more up to date then ever !
Since we are all waiting for the Diablo 2 Resurected, an API like in Diablo 3 for this resurected project would be a grate add on for all, new and old, players going to play it.

I ask again then, are there any plans for creating API for diablo 2 ( resurected ) ??
