Desktop app won't open on Apple M1 with Big Sur

I first started playing D3 on my old MacBook Air. I finally upgraded it this year for the new Apple M1 chip, but the Battle.net app won’t open. I can’t open the game without opening the Battle.net app first. Rosetta is downloaded and enabled. Other Intel x86 apps work fine.

I am incredibly curious how the M1 chip works with a single core game like D3 so I’d like to give it a shot. I also play on PC, so this isn’t preventing me from playing entirely, but it would prevent anyone with only a M1 machine from playing any Blizzard game available on the Mac.

I play WoW on my base M1 MacBook Air. I have had no issues with the Battle.net app not working with Rosetta. But I do wish they would release an Apple silicone version of the Battle.net app, like they did with World of Warcraft.
