using Windows 10 Home,
deleted “C:\ProgramData\Battlenet” as per reinstall instructions from “/support/en/article/34719”
when i try to run the installer, it instantly fails with this error code BLZBNTBTS000007D0
when restoring the folder “C:\ProgramData\Battlenet” from Recycle Bin and running installer again, the installer proceeded to ask for installation location, but the download progress never got above 0%. A while later i get this error BLZBNTBTS0000004A
i am having the same issue. cant seem to find a fix.

The current version installer “1.16.3.2988” will not work. The error log is pasted above for blizzard to debug.
Meanwhile, I have solved the issue by using a old version of the Battlenet installer “1.15.0.2916”

Please do not resurrect old threads The original post was from several years ago and even if it worked to solve whatever issue was being reported, it would not work for whatever issue you are experiencing now as the versions they were discussing are three years old at this point and would not be in anyway usuable.
If you are experiencing an issue with the Blizzard Desktop Application, either locate a currently active thread with your issue and post in it. Or start your own thread. Please make sure to include the specific issue/error in the title and provide as much detail as you can in the post. This will allow the community to assist better with troubleshooting.
