This seems like an ongoing problem for diablo 2 players but i have a windows 10 machine, ive tried compadability mode, ive tried checking my ports with a ports checker, i just used a uninstaller program that got rid of all registrys for diablo 2 and reinstalled and updated using online patcher, this game installer is just old and flawed, please help maybe the installer gave me old port ids idk anything and everything will help…
A quick question, did you download the installers from the attached link? Or, are you installing the games from the discs?
In addition to checking how it was installed, have you tried compatibility mode and running as administrator? It should be in the same location as the administrator mode, try switching to Windows XP or Windows 7 to test.
