Game wont launch for me neither.
removing citrix worked for me, however my friend doesn’t have citrix or antivirus and its still not working

Unistalled citrix workspace --> launched game but with 2 errors: First is your OS is older version second is your OS doesnt support directx12… soo game is running… installed newiest version of citrix still same… game is running with two errors

citrix is generally something used for work, like a program we use to work from home, you probably dont have it. people are having this issue without citrix
Okay this is a work computer but I don’t spot it, I see some anti virus software which I don’t have the power to change anything on.
@activision please fix this or tell me what to do. I even downloaded a windows VM(to simulate a clean machine) and tried fixing the downloaded data, but did not work.

i uninstall comodo internet security and bang it work. so if you have comodo uninstall it and find and other AV and firewall
It worked until season 2, please can’t they just fix or allow it to work in season 3…
Same issue here. I click ‘Play’ to launch the game, it says ‘Launching’, then no splash screen, nothing, the button just changes from ‘Launching’ to ‘Play’.
I use Citrix to work from home through a remote desktop connection and therefore will not be uninstalling it. It’s an easy decision if Citrix is the issue, I will stop playing this game before I stop doing my job, haha.

Still not working for me. I don’t have any antivirus software blocking, firewall permissions are okay for Modern Warfare, updated windows. updated drivers, I have no clue why this is not working. Hey Activision/Blizzard, some help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I had the same issue.
I deleted Citrix and it works fine now.
Don’t ask me why.
I was able to reinstall Citrix and it launches with no issues now.

I need Citrix Workspace for work. I’ve disabled all Citrix related programs during startup. No success.
I’ve added Warzone directory as exceptions in BitDefender. no success.
