Bnet repair scan loop

I took a harddrive to work to download COD: MW so it didnt take my bad home internet 48 hours to do so. Normally I can bring any game file home, on blizzard or other platforms, move it to my desktop, scan and find it instantly. Bnet has scanned the game files no less than 8 times now without an end in site. What can I do?

Hey Flapjack,

Can you try the steps suggested here? You can reinstall the Blizzard app by following these steps:

  1. Uninstall the Blizzard app

  2. Next type the following commands and delete any Battlenet and Blizzard folders you see in each location. Press Windows Key + R and type:
    • %LOCALAPPDATA%
    • %APPDATA%
    • %TEMP%
    • %PROGRAMDATA%

  3. Finally go ahead and reinstall the app from here. Make sure you run as Admin.
