Bnet and Heartstone starting on pc start up - not wanted

Every time I boot my pc Bnet and HS starts up and always “on top”, i don’t want this. It’s been doing it for few months. On settings “Launch Battle.net when I start my computer” is not checked, it’s also no-show in Task Manager start up settings.
Found message from Blizzard - Year AGO - saying this is not supposed to happen Battle.net app started when I turned computer on, but I have that option turned off? - #3 by McGroarty-1488. So how about finally fixing it?

Howdy Tuholainen,

I’m not aware of any bugs causing this situation anymore and most people don’t seem to experience this after it was fixed so it may just be caused by an old version of the Blizzard app or corruption in the Blizzard app. Let’s start with a clean reinstall of the app:

  1. Uninstall the Blizzard app
  2. Next open the temp locations and delete any Battlenet and Blizzard folders you see in each location. Press Windows Key + R and type:
    • %LOCALAPPDATA%
    • %APPDATA%
    • %TEMP%
    • %PROGRAMDATA%
  3. Finally go ahead and reinstall the app from here. Make sure you run as Admin.
