nope, they basically told me it was connection or firewall based, but it worked perfect last night, new update screwed it… they wont help me at all

the fact that this beta launched 12 hours ago and there has not been a single comment or mention from Battle.net or Activision that “they are aware of an issue and working on a fix” is incredibly disappointing. a little common courtesy goes a long way.
we all can understand there will be bugs in a beta but for there to be such a major issue for so many people who are trying to enjoy a new game after spending their hard earned money with no acknoledgement from anybody is extremely frustrating.

i have had the exact same problem, i press play and it says launching then it saying playing game, then it just goes back to press play again. or it will give the error code. very disappointing i payed to play early and i have been wasting hours trying to fix it.

Guys, you have to close out of the riot anti-cheat / vanguard software in the bottom right corner. I tried to delete and reinstall and nothing worked until exiting that software.

I don’t think so, but going to that point its not a Battlenet issue then. Doing that really just don’t change anything if its the download that messed it up. Which im 1000% certain is the problem.
Everyone experiencing issues with CoD launching will need to reach out to Activision. Blizzard/Bnet staff can only assist with your purchase of games and whether they download. Beyond that, all support is handled by Activision for their game titles.

I suppose it is “classic” for a store to sell things and allow the manufacturers of products to troubleshoot them. Activision makes CoD, not Blizzard.

It’s insane because many of us paid money this early to play the beta and now time is passing without being able to play due to their issue. Its a beta sure they have problems, but allowing millions of players to continue to play while thousands if not hundreds of thousands are experiencing this issue just makes it unfair. They must shut servers down until they fix this or extend the beta period. This is crap.
