BLZBNTBNA00000005 App 'Sleeping'

I just built and installed Windows 10 on a new computer. I am getting the BLZBNTBNA00000005 Blizzard Agent went to sleep. Attempting to wait it up error ever since. I DID get the app to work yesterday evening to load WOW onto the machine but it’s back asleep again. Tried all the troubleshooting tips and am stuck. Please help!

Hey, CmdrTombes! Could you try seeing if the same problem happens as consistently on an alternative connection or VPN?

We’ve seen similar issues happen with network related issues or specific providers and network devices. Just to gather as much details as we can, what’s the router/modem models in the household?

Could you provide a WinMTR file? Run the test until the problem occurs for 5 to 10 minutes and use the IP Address/Host Name: us.actual.battle.net. Copy and paste the text file created and paste it between two ~~~ like so:

Having the same issue after 2 updates ago by Blizz. Never had a problem before that, and I have the newest router comcast has, ran all the stuff they said to do, and still have the issue. Not very happy with this problem that I am pretty sure blizz created.

Same problem here. I can’t use Battle.net for almost one month. Clean install, Win 10 with all updates. I have one month subscription for WoW and cannot play… I’m getting angry…

I’m having this problem. I’ve been contacting support for about 3 weeks now and not getting anywhere. I responded to another thread but I have not gotten any responses and I’m constantly getting the Agent Went to Sleep. and Whoops something has crashed! (or broke) message. Only battle.net app has a problem like this. Initially a VPN helped, but it doesn’t seem to make any difference now.
