When I launch the Arcade Collection I just installed via Game Pass on my Windows 11 PC it displays a white window, then starts a video, then shuts down/crashes. Any suggestions as to how to work around it?
My PC is running a 2560x1440 desktop. I’ve tried rebooting, reinstalling from GamePass and from Battle.net, launching from both, verifying files/install.
I looked in error.log in the game install directory and it says:
[bnet_fatal] 14:53:44 FATAL bnet.cpp:705:No valid license found for this account
I have the game via Game Pass Ultimate, my Battle.net and Xbox accounts are linked and Battle.net and GamePass apps both recogise my license.
Seems to be a problem with the game failing to recognise the Game Pass Ultimate license to play it.
I found a Blizzard recommendation that you reboot your computer with out the Game pass app running, install the game from Battle.net and then launch the game from the Game Pass app. Tried this, but it didn’t help.
Seems like whatever method the game uses to check the battle.net license doesn’t work with the license provided via game pass, despite battle.net itself recognising the license.
