Lately, I have been having problems with the Beta launcher…
- it does not remember the location or the window geometry
- it does not retain the behaviour I set in the settings:
- I selected “close the window to the tray upon launch” and it restarts the window
- I selected “start the launcher when the game exits” it does not
The first issue has been ongoing for some time with (more than a month, after a re-install) and the last two started in the last 2 days (since the Tuesday restart on January 5th)
I, too, am having issues with the Beta Desktop App, although different from what is listed above.
What is going on for me is the articles aren’t updating. It used to be that I could completely close the app and the new articles would appear upon re-open, but that isn’t the case anymore. I know I am missing them because my husband, whose computer is behind me, is not using the beta app and I can see the updated and new articles on his computer. So, I know they exist, I just can’t see them.
I’ve submitted feedback twice now on the app itself. It is a bit frustrating, because otherwise I am loving the app. So here’s the question. Am I doing something wrong, or is this actually the app misbehaving? Input is welcome!
