Battle.net shows “Playing Now” even though Diablo IV is not

Hello,

I’m experiencing a bug with the Battle.net app and Diablo IV.

Battle.net constantly shows my status as “Playing Now”, even though I have not launched Diablo IV at all today. Because of this, I’m unable to launch the game.

I have already tried several things to fix the issue:

  • Restarting the Battle.net app

  • Closing Battle.net completely through Task Manager

  • Ending related processes via CMD

  • Removing/closing the game from the Battle.net game manager

None of these solutions work. The only thing that fixes the issue is restarting my entire computer. After a PC restart, the problem temporarily goes away.

This is very inconvenient because I cannot launch Diablo IV without restarting my computer first.

Could you please investigate this issue and let me know if there is a permanent fix?
