When i open chat window in battle.net app, I can’t send messages unless its a new chat. Seems like chat box isn’t anchored to the bottom of the panel. Also can’t scroll trough the chat conversation.

I have this same issue. They made me run through a ridiculous amount of “fixes” before directing me here. So annoying. I cannot see all of the conversation in a person’s chat box on the blizzard app, nor can I reply. No scroll option as well. FIX!
I have the same issue and cant do nothing about it. Does someone have any solustion ?
Untick “Automatically create pop-out windows for new clients” in your Bnet > Settings > Friends and chat.
The same problem. The only solution is to open the chat window, press Enter once, then tap a letter. Then the typing window appears.

Not everyone wants this large window with all the chats in it. I also prefer individual chat windows.

Same issue. Opening pop-out chat merely gives a chat window with no text box to send messages or ability to scroll as also shown and described in this thread. This needs to be fixed immediately. “Use the in-line chat” is not a solution. I do not want to use the in-line chat, I hate the in-line chat. There is no excuse for the pop-out chat to not be working, for Blizzard to be leaving a core feature of their application completely busted.
