Battle.net App Constantly Asking for Permission

Hello everyone,

I bought the Warcraft Reforged Battle Chest yesterday and installed the Battle.net App for the first time in roughly 3 years. It’s a clean install from new download of the App from Blizzard’s own site.

Every time I power up my PC and start up the App, it asks for permission to modify my PC. Every time. If I quite the App and then start it and log back in, the prompt will not occur, I need to power my system off first.

Note I also log out of the App when I’m done playing.

I understand the prompt coming up if there’s an actual update or something, but this must be a bug. Any solution without nixing security on my PC?

It sounds like the permission you’re granting is tied to the Windows session, so every time you end the Windows session the permission ends too.

I run Bnet as admin, and I’ve granted permission once at each update of the client.
