Battle Net - Cookie Loop

I’m encountering a problem with the Battle.net app where I’m repeatedly prompted to accept or reject cookies, even though I’ve accepted them multiple times.

This issue started after I reinstalled Windows + BNET on a new machine. I’m using both Edge and Chrome with their default cookie settings, but the prompt keeps reappearing every launch.

I suspect this might be related to Edge WebView (which Battle.net uses) or potentially a permissions issue.

I’ve seen other users mention the same problem on Reddit, which suggests this could be a more widespread issue: Checking Reddit (Don’t have permissions to link )

System Details:

  • Windows 11 Pro, fully updated
  • Latest drivers for motherboard, Edge, Chrome, and Battle.net app installed
  • User Account Control (UAC) is enabled, and my account has admin rights
  • Battle.net installed using an Admin PowerShell prompt

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

  • Tried running the Battle.net client as both an admin and a normal user
  • Verified default cookie settings in Edge and Chrome to ensure cookies aren’t automatically accepted
  • Investigated Edge WebView (which Battle.net uses) – still ongoing
  • Attempted several other common fixes

I would appreciate any help or additional troubleshooting steps to stop these recurring cookie prompts.
