I don’t know if this has been talked about, as I was unable to find an updated topic - there was one but it was back during beta. I wish there was a setting that would make the default status as appear offline. I understand I can toggle it off before I close battlenet or shut off my computer. However, sometimes this doesn’t work as I will launch (I have automatic login) and I will be appearing online when I had changed it before I left.
It is frustrating that there isn’t a general setting that I can set to ‘appear offline at launch/login’. I would find this very helpful.

Hit the gear icon on the login screen and there is a setting that says “Appear Offline”
