Starting last weekend, I hadn’t been able to connect to Bnet (US West or any other realm) while my computer was using its regular wifi connection. I knew that I didn’t have a temp ban on my account, so I was racking my brain as to the issue. I reinstalled three times, released and renewed my ip and refreshed my DNS, but to no avail.
Finally, I tried using the hotspot on my phone and it worked! It’s not a great solution, since playing on my cell phone’s cellular connection is both a bit laggy and using up my data plan, but if it worked for me it may work for you.
To the forum admins/mods - would this information help figure out a fix?
